Please note: A city-imposed accommodation tax of €2.50 per person per night (for guests aged 18 and over) is waived. This tax is normally collected by the host and paid to the city of Aachen.

Special requests are welcome for larger groups and/or longer stays.

Here's how the prices are calculated

Minimum stay

The minimum stay is two nights from Friday to Sunday and three nights from Monday to Thursday; this may vary on holidays and during peak seasons.

Our Prices

Monday through Friday: 250 EUR for up to four people; 50 EUR per night for each additional person.

Friday through Monday: 550 EUR for up to eight people; 60 EUR per night for each additional person.

Holidays & Season

Prices may vary on holidays and during special occasions or events (e.g., CHIO).

Animal Friends

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement and cost 9 EUR per night.

Cleaning costs

The cleaning fee is 130 EUR per stay.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is available from 4 p.m., and check-out is by 11 a.m..

If you’d like to check in early or check out late, please let us know: We’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Reservations & Deposit

Please contact us for a personalized quote. To make a binding reservation, we ask for a brief confirmation and a deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay.

Cancellations made up to 30 days before the arrival date are free of charge; cancellations made up to 14 days before the arrival date will be charged at 80% of the booking total. Cancellations, changes, and no-shows made after that point will be charged the full amount.

Parties and bachelor parties are not allowed

Please note that Villa Hortensie is located in a residential area and is not available for parties, bachelor parties, or similar events. After 10:30 p.m., guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum in the outdoor areas out of consideration for the neighbors.

”A stunningly beautiful villa in a prime location. Perfect for trips into the countryside, whether for hiking or biking. To get to beautiful Aachen stress-free, there’s a bus stop right around the corner. The villa is fully equipped, furnished with great attention to detail, and spotlessly clean. We (a group of eight) wanted for nothing. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend, were able to enjoy breakfast in peace in the beautiful and spacious dining room, and chatted away until the early hours in the cozy living room. ”There were eleven of us staying at the villa, plus two babies and two toddlers, and I can’t recommend the house, the area, and our host Birgit highly enough! We had a truly wonderful stay, with plenty of space for a leisurely brunch; we were able to enjoy the sun on the terrace with a view of the greenery and take lovely walks in the nearby forest. It’s also a quick drive into downtown. The kitchen is superbly equipped and perfect for cooking. The beds are cozy, the rooms are spacious, and so are the bathrooms. We would absolutely love to come back! The whole family loved it :). We really had a wonderful time—thank you!!
