As a guest house, Villa Hortensie offers you all the advantages of "feeling at home". Due to my close connection to the building - it is my parents' house -, the surroundings and the district, it is particularly important to me to offer guests the amenities they could wish for during their stay.
In the holiday home Villa Hortensie there is a little more of everything and everything is a little more loving: space, peace, privacy and furnishings.
In the morning you can walk to the bakery around the corner to get your rolls. And when was the last time you got milk from the farmer?
In summer, the hydrangeas bloom around the building, to which the Aachen guest house owes its name. In the basement is our granny flat with its own access area - so we're happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
You can reach the city center with its wonderful historical sights almost as quickly as you can in the Aachen city forest.
You arrive in Aachen - and feel home. Simply that way. And you will love it!
Establishment of the boarding house
The spacious, bright living room is the center of a family vacation or group trip, where comfortable sofas and armchairs invite you to get together. It is adjacent to a spacious, covered balcony with a view of the garden, which is equipped with comfortable garden furniture.
Next to the living area is the dining room with a table for up to 10 people. For larger groups, there is an additional table for four people in the directly adjacent living room.
The beds are particularly important for a good stay! In the two lower bedrooms you will find double beds measuring 180x200 cm. The large, modern bathroom is adjacent to both rooms.
In the work area, which can be separated from the living room by a curtain, a sofa with sleeping function creates an additional bedroom.
On the upper floor there are two bedrooms with double beds (160x200 cm and 140x200 cm) and one room with one double and two single beds. A large lounge area with sofa, bathroom and another south-facing balcony thus form a separate unit.
Private parking space is available in front of the house.

The guest house Villa Hortensie in the triangle of Aachen is located close to the city in a quiet cul-de-sac in the so-called "Südviertel" (Steinebrück).
The road ends in the Aachen forest - you will find unlimited opportunities for jogging and hiking. The children's playground at Stauweiher II. Rote-Haag-Weg is 500 meters away. You can get fresh milk, vegetables and eggs from the farmer's shop.
Many shops for daily needs are within walking distance: bakers, pastry chefs (the world's best flake cream!), butcher, greengrocer and pharmacy.
The spa district of Burtscheid and the nearest supermarkets can be reached in less than five minutes by car, as well as an indoor and an outdoor pool.
Belgium and the Netherlands can be reached within 5 bw. 10 minutes by car.
